Went to Sushi Zushi wit some friends. Ordered a slew of fresh sushi starting with these two. To the left is the Rainbow Roll and to the left is a less fancy version of the Strawberry roll pictured earlier in this blog from a previous visit.

Crispy Chicken Enchiladas Verdes at Mi Cocina in West Village (Dallas, TX). Every time I come it’s a wonderful experience. If you ever have a chance to get here, order the Brisket Tacos with a Mambo Taxi. Also, ask for Javier, best waiter here.

This is the strawberry and kiwi dessert roll from Sushi Zushi, one of my favorite sushi places. In the back of the picture is the Delicato roll which is also a good one.

On Fran, Britt, and I’s trip to Austin. We stopped in at The Salt Lick. Walking in the door, all you see and smell is this pit. You pass this to get to the register, brilliant idea by the owners.

The elusive stuffed biscuit from Breadwinner’s in Dallas, TX. There are a couple of locations but the uptown one on McKinney is by far the best. This biscuit has an assortment of breakfast items (egg, sausage, bacon, cheese) but the hollandaise makes it delicious.
